CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a Special Meeting on
Monday, June 28, 2021 directly following the Committee of the Whole meeting, which starts at
7:00 p.m. at the following telephone number for the public to participate in the meeting: 1-253-

The meeting will not be conducted at Tukwila City Hall, based on the Governor's Proclamation
20-28 adopted March 24, 2020 which says in part:
Any public agency, subject to RCW 42.30, is prohibited from conducting any meeting,
subject to RCW 42.30 unless (a) the meeting is not conducted in-person and instead
provides an option(s) for the public to attend the proceedings through, at minimum,
telephonic access, ..."

a. Approve an application for lodging tax funds from the City of Tukwila
Parks and Recreation Department for Phase 2 Art Installation along
Baker Boulevard in the amount of $75,000.00.

b. Authorize the Mayor sign a grant agreement with the Puget Sound
Regional Council for the Transportation Program Grant, in the amount
of $1,500,000.00. [Reviewed and forwarded to Consent by the Committee
of the Whole on 6/28/21.]
c. A resolution repealing Resolution No. 1936 and designating a
temporary storage location for weapons during Municipal Court
proceedings. [Reviewed and forwarded to Consent by the Community
Services and Safety Committee on 6/21/21.]

Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Security Lines US for park
security cameras in the amount of $125,000.00.
