WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of RCW Chapters 35.77 and 47.26, the City Council of the City of Tukwila has previously adopted a Transportation Improvement Program and thereafter periodically modified said Transportation Improvement Program by resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the work accomplished under said program, determined current and future City street and arterial needs and, based upon these findings, has prepared a Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program for the ensuing six calendar years (2022-2027); and WHEREAS, on June 14, 2021, a public hearing was held regarding the City's Six - Year Transportation Improvement Program; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Program Adopted. A Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program for the calendar years 2022 to 2027, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby adopted. Section 2. Filing of Program.
