Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Security Lines US for park security cameras in the

Councilmember Idan expressed concern regarding this contract as other programs benefiting the
community may need toboprioritized instead due 10the pandemic.
Councilmember Delostrinos Johnson noted safety can be promoted in ways that do not require
surveillance.
Council President Kruller shared her reservations regarding camera surveillance on the public and the
need for additional information.

EXECUTIVE SESSION —CoUeodve Bargaining — Pursuant to RCVV42.3O.14O(4)(b) (60 minutes)
Mayor Ekberg announced the Council will now gninto anExecutive Session b>discuss:
Collective Bargaining — Pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(b)
The total amount of time will be no more than 60 minutes, and no decisions will be made during the
Executive Session. Noaction will berequired inthe Open Meeting after the Executive Session has
concluded.
He declared the meeting adjourned as of the conclusion of the Executive Session. The Executive
Session will not be extended beyond the announced time, and they will not be returning to open session
toadjourn orfor any other reason.
