HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974 - Temporary Construction and Drainage Easement - The City of Seattle - 7402080364tz,z :?24. t o ii r �v °LG� ?G�f�tG• i b?e (LI �i! tom' ha0 S;eZZ TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT The Grantor, THE CITY OF SEATTir,, a municipal corporation, for and in consideration of benefits to its property abutting on either side and in consideration of the covenants of the City of Tukwila, hereinafter set forth, grants and conveys to the City of Tukwila a temporary easement for construc- tion and drainage purposes for the following described real estate situated in the County of King, State of Washington: The east thirty feet of the west seventy -five feet of that por- `D tion_ of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Sec- CD Lion 26, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., in King County, Washington, described as follows: CQ J Beginning at the southwest corner of said subdivision; thence North 0 West along the west line of said subdivision 333.2 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 89° 35'30" East parallel to the south line of said subdivision 9.58 feet to the center line of a drainage ditch; thence along said center line North 48 03'35" East 97.16 feet; thence North 40 °53'57" East 56.76 feet; thence North 44 17'54" East 50.24 feet; thence North 14 51'49" East 50.05 feet; thence North 24 °45'19" East 56.50 feet; thence North 14 34'46" East 41.43 feet; thence North 35 00'20" East 58.10 feet; thence North 21 15' East 117.50 feet; thence North 33 10' East 304.50 feet; thence North 38 00' East 157.50 feet; thence North 19 30' East 114 feet; thence North 11 00' West 69.50 feet to the north line of said subdivision; thence North 89 41'30" West along said north line 573 feet to the nortin:st corner of said subdivision; thence South 0 26'30" East along the west line of said subdivi- sion G98.40 feet to the true point of beginning; EXCEPT the north 30 feet thereof. ALSO, the vest twenty feet of the east sixty feet of the south west quarter of the northeast quarter (Sts'2 of NE,-) of Section 26, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M.; EXCEPT the north 30 feet thereof. The temporary grant and conveyance herein made is in connection with con- struction of an improved street and utilities on adjacent lands by the City of Tukwila; consequently all the conveyances and grants herein made, and the easement herein, shall automatically cease and terminate and become null and void on the earlier of the following, but in any event no later than December 31, 1976; a) the date of final acceptance by the City of Tukwila of the improved street constructed ..by the City of Tukwila, in the area adjacent to the above described easement; or b) December 31, 1975 and on such date all the right, title and interest of the Grantor to the property above described shall become unencumbered of the grant and con- veyance herein made. This grant and conveyance is subject to those certain easements as follows: That certain easement executed October 25, 1961 for sewer and water lines granted to the City of Tukwila by the City of Seattle pursuant to Seattle Ordinance 90540, approved September 12, 1961 and Tukwila Resolution 146. That certain easement executed July 26 1968, for underground telephone system granted to Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company pursuant to Seattle Ordinance 96893 and recorded under King County Auditor's File Number 6397207 in Volume 5134 of Deeds, Page 494. That certain easement executed August 6, 1970 for an underground '.0 pipeline granted to Olympic Pipeline Company pursuant to Seattle Ordi- nance No. A9125 and recorded under King County Auditor's File No. 6683975 in Volume 441 of Deeds, Page 552.
