BUSINESS AGENDA Consensus existed to add consideration of a co -responder program contract with Sound Health. A. 20212 n Quarter Police Department Report Staff presented the report. /tem(s) requiring follow-up. • Determine if Mayor Ekberg met with County representatives regarding the public health approach to gun violence. • Provide additional information on trespassing incidents. Committee Recommendation; Discussion only. B. Contract with Sound Health Staff is seeking Council approval of a contract with Sound Health in the amount of $85,000 for co -responder services with the Police Department to provide de -escalations, diversions and referrals. Items) requiring follow-up. • Provide program utilization data after implementation. Committee Recommendation; Unanimous approval. Forward to August 3, 2021 Regular Meeting. C. Fire Marshal Office Alternatives Staff returned with additional detail on the fire marshal services currently performed and those not being provided, along with a proposed timeline that /tem(s) requiring follow-up: • Provide prioritization of service enhancements • Further explain how the presented options will address the issues.
