Chair Idan called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds
The Committee discussed possible uses for $5.78 million in ARPA funding which is subject to
specific criteria and must be obligated by December 31, 2024. Considerations that were
mentioned include: leave balance greater than 200K for unknowns, seek more information
from SCORE, center equity in decision making, prioritize helping those hit hardest by COVID,
fund more rental assistance, considerteen programming, support better health outcomes, use
Community Connectors to better understand needs.

MISCELLANEOUS
Staff provided an update on the status of meeting room technology upgrades and a potential
grant opportunity for citywide broadband.
