M I N U T E S
Council President Phelps, in the absence of the Mayor, called
the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at
4:00 p.m.
Special Meeting called to consider an agreement with King
County for Block Grant funds.
LIONEL C. BOHRER, DORIS E. PHELPS, Council President, JOE H.
DUFFIE, EDGAR D. BAUCH.
DON WILLIAMS, Parks Recreation Director; MAXINE ANDERSON,
City Clerk.
Don Williams explained that it is necessary to have Council
pass a motion authorizing the Mayor to sign the Interlocal
Cooperative Agreememt with the King County Community develop-
ment Block Grant Office for a three year period, 1985 -1987.
The Block grant Office will accept a certified copy of the
minutes as verification of Council approval.
MOVED BY BOHRER, SECONDED BY DUFFIE,THAT COUNCIL AUTHORIZE
THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT WITH KING COUNTY.
MOTION CARRIED.
4:05 p.m. MOVED BY DUFFIE, SECONDED BY BOHRER, THAT THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL ADJOURN. MOTION CARRIED.
