Chair Idan called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program
Staff presented 10 recommended projects for implementation if funding is secured in 2021 or
2022.

B. Phase 2 Prioritization for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds
The Committee continued discussion of possible uses for $5.78 million in ARPA funding which
is subject to specific criteria and must be obligated by December 31, 2024. Ideas that emerged
included centering equity, identifying programs or personnel to help historically
disadvantaged communities navigate government processes, resolve issues of power
imbalance, consider other funding sources for traffic calming.
