Arts and culture are active and visible in many ways in Tukwila, bringing pleasure and vitality to everyday life. Tukwila's civic identity and pride are strengthened through celebrating arts and culture, engaging and reflecting the multifaceted nature of the community, generating bonds among people and adding meaning to the places where they live and work. Decisions regarding use of public funds for art and culture will provide a balance of project types and locations, based on the intent and vision of Tukwila Arts.
