THIS AGREEMENT made this 22nd day of March
PUGET WESTERN, INC.
hereinafter termed "Grantor
WITNESSETH:
The Grantor shall retain the right to use
the surfiace of said easement, so long as
said use does not interfere with the in-
stallation and maintenance of the utility
lines or mains and so long as no buildings
or structures are erected on said easement.
This easement shall be a covenant running
with the land and shall be binding on the
successors, heirs and assigns of both parties hereto.
That the said Grantor for valuable consideration does
by these presents grant onto the Grantee a perpetual right -of -way
or easement for utility mains and lines with the necessary appur-
tenances through, over, and across the following described proper-
ty situated in King County, Washington, more particularly described
as follows:
A fifteen foot wide strip of land abutting and running
parallel to each side of the following described 72 foot
sttip.
That portion of Government Lot 1 in Section 36, Township .23
North, Range 4 East, W.M., lying Easterly of 70th Avenue South
(James Christensen Road), Less road.
that .lies within the limits of a strip of land 72 feet in width,
the centerline of which is described as followsL
Beginning at a point on the West line of said Section 36 a
distance of 0.55 feet North of the Southwest corner of Government
Lot 1 in said Section 36; thence Easterly along the arc of a curve to
the left with a radius of 315.13 feet, the radial point of which
4'36'29" East throw h a central angle of 3 °22'48" an arc

distance of 18.59_ feet to a point of tangency on the South line of
said Government Lot 1; thence South 88 °46`19" East along said South
line to the thread of Green River.

any legal obligation or liability there
gO fore, provided that such constructing, re-
pairing, altering or reconstructing of such
utility lines or mains shall be accomplished
in such a manner that the fences, lawn,
shrubbery, drives and walkways and land
contours existing in the right -of -way
shall not be disturbed or destroyed, or
in the event that they are disturbed or
destroyed, they will be replaced in as
good a condition as they were immediately
before the property was entered upon by
the Grantee.
