Chair Idan called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
BUSINESSAGENDA
A. Phase 2 Prioritization for American Rescue Plan Act (ABPA) Funds
Staff presented additional proposals for ARPA funds, including Fire Department overtime for
minimum staffing, cybersecurity, a financial analyst dedicated to tracking and reportingARPA,
and restoration of SeeClickFix.
Item(s) for follow-up:
Determine if synthetic turf installation at soccer fields is eligible for ARPA funds

B. 20212"d Quarter Investment Report
Staff presented the report.

C. Human Resources Department Staffing Request
Staff briefed the Committee on a proposal to transfer funding for a vacant Police Department
FTE to create a new FTE in Human Resources to better manage the workload, particularly in
the areas of police, recruiting, and safety.
Committee Recommendation
Committee approval to include in budget amendment proposal.
