AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 573 RELATING TO CIVIL
SERVICE APPLICANTS.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 573 requires applicants for a position
under Civil Service to reside in the State of Washington for a period of
one year prior to application date, and
WHEREAS, RCW 41.12.075 prohibits discrimination in any manner
against any person because of his residence outside of the limits of such
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Ordinance No. 573 adopted on the 4th day of August, 1969,
is hereby repealed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
