ORDINANCE NO. 1270 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 570, SECTION 15, RESISTING
O±ft ICERS, RELATING TO RESISTING, OBSTRUCTING, OR
DELAYING OFFICERS.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. Ordinance No. 570, Section 15, Resisting Officers and
Section 8.04.150 of the Tukwila Municipal Code are hereby amended to read
as follows:

to .attempt by other conduct to obstruct, delay,
hinder, or resist such arrest or investigation;
PR.O`JIDEDF that this subsection (a) shall not
apj_)ly to any person operating or in charge of a
vehicle.
"(b) It is unlawful for any person, in
connection. with the investigation by any Fire,
Building or Planning Department employee or other
City employee charged by law with investigation
or enforcement of applicable statutes,
ordinances, or regulations, or in connection with
any enforcement action or proceeding, knowin9iy
to give a false name or other false identifying
nfor_mation, or to attempt by other conduct to
obstruct, delay, hinder or resist: such
investigation, enforcement action, or proceeding."
2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five
(5) days after its passage, approval and legal publication..
