All correction requests from each department must be addressed at the same time and reflected on your drawings. I have enclosed comments from the following departments: BUILDING DEPARTMENT: Allen Johannessen at 206-433-7163 if you have questions regarding these comments. ® (GENERAL NOTE) PLAN SUBMITTALS: (Min. size 11x17 to maximum size of 24x36; all sheets shall be the same size. New revised plan sheets shall be the same size sheets as those previously submitted.) (If applicable) "STAMP AND SIGNATURES" "Every page of a plan set must contain the seal/stamp, signature of the licensee(s) who prepared or who had direct supervision over the preparation of the work, and date of signature. Specifications that are prepared by or under the direct supervision of a licensee shall contain the seal/stamp, signature of the licensee and the date of signature. If the "specifications" prepared by a licensee are a portion of a bound specification document that contains specifications other than that of an engineering or land surveying nature, the licensee need only seal/stamp that portion or portions of the documents for which the licensee is responsible." The plan provided is not an acceptable architectural drawing for remodel permit application. The plan does not necessarily require an architect or engineer unless certain structural elements are required. The plan shall be "neatly" drawn to an architectural scale, usually 1/4" or 1/8" to 1 foot which ever fits on a minimum 11" x 17" sheet. The plan shall include the following: a. A site plan showing where the building is located on site with dimensions from property line. b. A floor plan of all floors of the house or building showing all rooms existing with names of rooms. The existing floor plan shall show any walls or elements proposed to be demoed or removed. Also show stairways with dimensions. c. Cloud all areas that shall be altered or remodeled. Clouded area of work shall also be shown on the site plan if applicable. d. Provide dimensions of all rooms to be altered. Existing rooms shall be located to scale but not necessarily require dimensions. All elements proposed shall have dimensions shown, size of materials to include existing material sizes affected by the building alteration. Dimensions shall include ceiling heights or floor height from the ground or lower floor if it applies to the alterations. Show kitchen and bathroom plan with proposed cabinet layout with plumbing fixtures shown to include any other elements not specified. Clearly specify any hardware for connections, fasteners for all elements of construction and other types of materials and lumber with sizes specified. All affected framing that is structural shall be clearly shown and where load bearing framing members shown shall transfer loads to a foundation below. This can be shown in an elevation plan detail. 2. Provide a narrative explaining all proposed work and notes on the plan clearly indicating materials and identifying any other elements that apply to the work. To clarify this discrepancy please provide simple scaled illustrations to depict the following (area of remodel only): 1. Existing floor plan. 2.
