We have been working on the project throughout however we have experienced unexpected delay. The hot tub that our new deck surrounds died in August. It was not able to be repaired and a new one had to be ordered. This required us to disassemble an area of the deck in order to remove the old hot tub and modify the existing decking to accommodate the new hot tub shape. The new hot tub arrived on site Nov 30, 2017. The tub has been installed we are scheduled to reassemble the decking by January 15th. This delay has put us behind on finishing the steps and hand railing required for final inspection. To complete this work we are at the mercy of the weather as we need to varnish wood before completing the install. This work needs 3 days of 50 degree weather. That being said we hope to have final inspection in April or May 2018. Thank you for your consideration on this request.
