REPEALED BY 1261 1274 ORDINANCE NO. 1257
)01-71-1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
RELATING TO NON- CONFORMING SIGNS; AMENDING ORDI-
NANCE #773, SECTION 010 (3); AND REPEALING ORDI-
NANCE NOS. 1149 AND 1214.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 010 (3) of Ordinance #773 is amended as
follows:
Section 010: Prohibited signs and devices.
(3) All non - conforming temporary signs shall be removed
within thirty (30) days of the date of this ordinance. All non - conforming
signs including those for which variances have previously been granted and
which have replacement value of less than one - hundred (100) dollars shall
be brought into conformance with requirements of this Code or shall be
removed within one (1) year from the effective date of this Code. All
non - conforming permanent signs including those for which variances have
been previously granted and which have a replacement value of one - hundred
(100) dollars or more shall be brought into conformance with the require-
ments of this Code or shall be removed within seven- 474- efght- 484 -A4Re -494
gears -fref- the - effect4ve- date- ef- th4s -Gede 30 days after May 28, 1982.
For those areas annexed or rezoned subsequent to the enactment of this
Code, the effective date for the start of the time period for the removal
of the signs shall be the date of annexation or rezoning.
Section 2. Ordinance Nos. 1149 and 1214 are hereby repealed.
