ORDINANCE NO. 5
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ACCEPTING THE WATER MAINS, INCLUDING HYDRANTS, AND
THE SANITARY SEWER MAINS FROM PACIFIC TOWNHOUSE
BUILDERS, INC. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS
OF RESOLUTION NO. 784.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 784, adopted the 6th day of April,
1981, the City expressed the intent to take over the sanitary sewer
mains and water mains, including hydrants, that serve the Sunwood
Development on 62nd Avenue South, and
WHEREAS, the developer has completed the utility installation
for Phases I and II and the four unit subdivision adjacent to South 151st
Street, and
WHEREAS, all items required in Resolution 784 have been sub-
mitted to the Public Works Department and verified as to adequacy.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Tukwila City Council hereby accepts the
following documents from Pacific Townhouse Builders, Inc.:
A. One set of reproducible as -built plans of the complete
condominium site facilities.
B. The Bills of Sale for the water mains, including hydrants,
and sewer mains to be turned over to the City along with a
unit cost breakdown of the installed cost for the utilities.
C. Permanent maintenance easements.
D. Certification from a registered civil engineer verifying
that the utilities in Section 1 were constructed in conformance
with drawings approved by the Public Works Department.
E. A performance or maintenance bond in the amount of the
value of the utility installation that will be in effect for
one year from the effective date of this ordinance.
Section 2. The Tukwila City Council hereby accepts the sewer
lines and water mains, including hydrants, for Phase I and II and the
four unit subdivision for the Sunwood Condominium development.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this day of G�q 1982.
