EL17-0269 Dear Permits Department of Tukwila, I'm writing to you to appeal my expired permit inspection report for the electrical work done on my home at 16046 48th Ave S Tukwila, WA 98188. The people who originally helped us start the project were unable to continue due to injury, after picking up where they left off there were many things that were not up to code and we have been working hard to fix over the past couple months. We have paid several people over the course of this project which has ended up being much more costly than originally anticipated but we would really like to have this done right and to code. We ran into issues recently locating the correct parts for the arc -fault breakers required to update our panel which lead to the delay in booking the final inspection by a few days. We had thought that this permit expired on February 14th as there is no date listed on the inspection record, if we had known it was last week we would have filed for an extension beforehand. This project has been quite costly to us and we don't have any more money to spend on it. We hope that you could offer us an extension and book a final inspection as all of the work is now complete.
