ORDINANCE NO. 1249 9 AN ORDINANCE DISCONTINUING O THE H SUMMER S SEWAGE K RATE AND REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 1007, SECTION 1, SUBSECTION 5
(14.16.030 (5)) AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1163.
WHEREAS, since 1974 commercial and industrial customers have
been allowed a summer sewer rate benefit on their utility bills to en-
courage watering of landscaped areas, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is now encouraging the
installation of "exempt water meters" to accomplish the same end, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that, in the best interest of
the Utility Department and to establish equitable benefits for all utility
customers, the summer sewage rate should be discontinued.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Ordinance No. 1007, Section 1, Subsection (5) (14.16.030 (5))
adopted March 7, 1977 and Ordinance No. 1163, adopted June
2, 1980, are hereby repealed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 6th day of April 1982.
