ORDINANCE NO. y
REPEALED BY
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
INCREASING THE CITY -METRO RATE, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 934, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1193 AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Metro has notified the City of an increase in the
Metro rate pursuant to the agreement between Metro and the City, and
WHEREAS, the City is in the process of calculating and assessing
Metro sewer charges for the month of January, 1982, and it is necessary
to have the new rate effective immediately for purposes of making these
calculations.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance 934, Section 2 and Tukwila Muni-
cipal Code 14.16.065 each be amended to read as follows:
14.16.065 City Metro Rate. The City -Metro charges as pro-
vided for in Section 14.16.060 and as required by the Agreement for
Sewage Disposal between the municipality of metropolitan Seattle and
the City of Tukwila is set at the sum of €eb- Be��as- apd- F }fty -6epts
4$4 -684 Four Dollars and Ninety Five Cents ($4.95) per residential cus-
tomer and per residential customer equivalents.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 1193 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. The Tukwila City Council finds that an emergency
exists and that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
