ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
, SETTING TESTING FEES FOR FILING CIVIL SERVICE
APPLICATIONS.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila Civil Service Commission feels it is in
the best interest of the City to charge a testing fee for entry level
Fire and Police Department applicants, and
WHEREAS, this procedure will encourage only those who are
seriously seeking a career with the Tukwila Fire or Police Departments
to apply, and
WHEREAS, for anyone unable to pay the fee an indigent waiver
will be provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The Tukwila City Council hereby sets $5.00 as the testing
fee to be charged all those applying to take the Civil
Service Test for the Fire or Police Departments.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this a C# day of 1981.
