This permit shall become null and void if the work is not commenced within 180 days for the date of issuance, or if
the work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days from the last inspection.
PERMIT CONDITIONS:
1: Readily accessible access to roof mounted equipment is required.
2: All construction shall be done in conformance with the Washington State Building Code and the
Washington State Energy Code.
3: Remove all demolition rubble and loose miscellaneous material from lot or parcel of ground, properly cap
the sanitary sewer connections, and properly fill or otherwise protect all basements, cellars, septic tanks,
wells, and other excavations. Final inspection approval will be determined by the building inspector based
on satisfactory completion of this requirement.
4: All plumbing and gas piping work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the
City of Tukwila Building Department (206-431-3670).
5: All electrical work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the City of Tukwila
Permit Center.
6: VALIDITY OF PERMIT: The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an
approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any other ordinances of the City
of Tukwila. Permits presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the code or other
ordinances of the City of Tukwila shall not be valid. The issuance of a permit based on construction
documents and other data shall not prevent the Building Official from requiring the correction of errors in
the construction documents and other data.
7: ***MECHANICAL PERMIT CONDITIONS***
8: All mechanical work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the City of Tukwila
Permit Center (206/431-3670).
9: Manufacturers installation instructions shall be available on the job site at the time of inspection.
10: Type 1 Hoods, the required grease duct leakage test and (light test shall be performed by a special
inspection and testing agency in accordance with I.M.C. Chapter 5.
11: When special inspection is required, either the owner or the registered design professional in responsible
charge, shall employ a special inspection agency and notify the Building Official of the appointment prior to
the first building inspection. The special inspector shall furnish inspection reports to the Building Official in
a timely manner.
12: A final report documenting required special inspections and correction of any discrepancies noted in the
inspections shall be submitted to the Building Official. The final inspection report shall be prepared by the
approved special inspection agency and shall be submitted to the Building Official prior to and as a
condition of final inspection approval.
17: Type I hood systems shall be designed and installed to automatically activate the exhaust fan whenever
cooking operations occur. The activation of the exhaust fan shall occur through an interlock with the
cooking appliances, by means of heat sensors or by means of other approved methods. (IMC 507.2.1.1)
14: A Type 1 hood shall be installed at or above all commercial cooking appliances and domestic cooking
appliances used for commercial purposes that produce grease vapors. Each required commercial kitchen
exhaust hood and duct system required by section 610 of the International Fire Code to have a Type 1 hood
shall be protected with an approved automatic fire -extinguishing system installed in accordance with this
code. (IFC 904.2.1 and IFC 904,11) Automatic fire -extinguishing systems shall comply with UL 300 or other
equivalent standards and shall be installed in accordance with the requirements of the listing. (NFPA 96,
10.2.3)
16: All new automatic fire -extinguishing systems and all modifications to existing automatic fire -extinguishing
systems shall have fire department review and approval of drawings prior to installation or modification.
18: U.L. central station supervision is required. (City Ordinance #2436)
20: All new fire alarm systems or modifications to existing systems shall have the written approval of The
Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau. No work shall commence until a fire department permit has been
obtained. (City Ordinance #2437) (IFC 901.2)
15: Portable fire extinguishers shall be provided within a 30 -foot (9144 mm) travel distance of commercial -type
cooking equipment. Cooking equipment involving vegetable or animal oils and fats shall be protected by a
Class K rated portable extinguisher. (IFC 904.11.5)
13: Portable fire extinguishers, not housed in cabinets, shall be installed on the hangers or brackets supplied.
Hangers or brackets shall be securely anchored to the mounting surface in accordance with the
manufacturer's installation instructions. Portable fire extinguishers having a gross weight not exceeding 40
pounds (18 kg) shall be installed so that its top is not more than 5 feet (1524 mm) above the floor. Hand-
held portable fire extinguishers having a gross weight exceeding 40 pounds (18 kg) shall be installed so that
its top is not more than 3.5 feet (1067 mm) above the floor. The clearance between the floor and the
bottom of the installed hand-held extinguishers shall not be less than 4 inches (102 mm). (IFC 906.7 and IFC
906.9)
21: An electrical permit from the City of Tukwila Building Department Permit Center (206-431-3670) is required
for this project.
19: Contact The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau to witness all required inspections and tests. (City Ordinances
#2436 and #2437)
22: Any overlooked hazardous condition and/or violation of the adopted Fire or Building Codes does not imply
approval of such condition or violation.

PERMIT APPLICATION NOTES -
Value of construction — in all cases, a value of construction amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is subject
to possible revision by the permit center to comply with current fee schedules.
Expiration of plan review — applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitation.
The building official may grant one extension of time for additional periods not to exceed 90 days each. The extension shall be requested in writing
and justifiable cause demonstrated. Section 105.3.2 International Building Code (current edition).

We are writing to request an extension on Developmental Permit no. D16-0331. We had hoped to be able to schedule
our Hood/Duct and Mechanical Efficiency Inspections prior to the deadline but due to an error on one of our
contractor's parts, the control panel for the kitchen Hood/Duct system is currently stuck in "Fire" mode when energized.
This has already led to one false alarm being sent to the Tukwila Fire Department. We are coordinating with our
electricians and fire suppression contractors to correct this issue and hope to schedule the inspections in the very near
future.
While we could request an inspection on one of these systems (and fail to pass inspection) to automatically create a new
180 day period, we would prefer to wait until we've had the work completed to a level that we feel prepared to pass
successfully, as well as bundle as many related inspections on the same day as to best utilize both the inspectors' time as
well as our own.
We appreciate your time and understanding. We hope that you consider granting our request for this permit extension.

In reviewing our current records, the above noted permit has not received a final inspection by the City of Tukwila Building
Division. Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and/or the National Electric
Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the provisions of these codes shall expire by limitation and become null
and void if the building or work authorized by such permit has not begun within 180 days from the issuance date of such permit, or if
the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has begun for a period of 180
days. Your permit will expire on 6/2/2018.
Based on the above, you are hereby advised to:
1) Call the City of Tukwila Inspection Request Line at 206-438-9350 to schedule for the next or final inspection. Each
inspection creates a new 180 day period, provided the inspection shows progress.

2) Submit a written request for permit extension to the Permit Center at least seven(7) days before it is due to expire.
Address your extension request to the Building Official and state your reason(s) for the need to extend your permit.
The Building Code does allow the Building Official to approve one extension of up to 180 days. If it is determined that your
extension request is granted, you will be notified by mail.
In the event you do not call for an inspection and/or receive an extension prior to 6/2/2018, your permit will become null and void
and any further work on the project will require a new permit and associated fees.

We need an extension, as the HVAC installer has not had sufficient time to
perform the work necessary to meet a timely inspection. They are scheduled to
start work on the hood install next Wednesday August 2nd, 2017.

In reviewing our current records, the above noted permit has not received a final inspection by the City of Tukwila Building
Division. Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and/or the National Electric
Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the provisions of these codes shall expire by limitation and become null
and void if the building or work authorized by such permit has not begun within 180 days from the issuance date of such permit, or if
the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has begun for a period of 180
days. Your permit will expire on 8/7/2017.
Based on the above, you are hereby advised to:
1) Call the City of Tukwila Inspection Request Line at 206-438-9350 to schedule for the next or final inspection. Each
inspection creates a new 180 day period, provided the inspection shows progress.

2) Submit a written request for permit extension to the Permit Center at least seven(7) days before it is due to expire.
Address your extension request to the Building Official and state your reason(s) for the need to extend your permit.
The Building Code does allow the Building Official to approve one extension of up to 180 days. If it is determined that your
extension request is granted, you will be notified by mail.
In the event you do not call for an inspection and/or receive an extension prior to 8/7/2017, your permit will become null and void
and any further work on the project will require a new permit and associated fees.

2. I understand that state law requires that all building construction contractors be registered with the
State of Washington. The exceptions to this requirement are stated under Section 18.27.090 of the
Revised Code of Washington, a copy of which is printed on the reverse side of this Affidavit. I have
read or am familiar with RCW 18.27.090.
I understand that prior to issuance of a permit for work which is to be done by any contractor, the
City of Tukwila must verify either that the contractor is registered by the State of Washington, or that
one of the exemptions stated under RCW 18.27.090 applies.
4. In order to provide verification to the City of Tukwila of my compliance with this requirement, I
hereby attest that after reading the exemptions from the registration requirement of RCW 18.27.090,
I consider the work authorized under this permit to be exempt under number / 3 , and will therefore
not be performed by a registered contractor.
5. I understand that the licensing provision of RCW 19.28.161 through 19.28.271 shall not apply to
persons making electrical installations on their own property or to regularly employed employees
working on the premises of their employer. The proposed electrical work is not for the construction
of a new building for rent, sale or lease.

18.27.090 Exemptions. The registration provisions of this
1. An authorized representative of the United States
government, the state of Washington, or any incorporated
city, town, county, township, irrigation district, reclamation
district, or other municipal or political corporation or
subdivision of this state;
2. Officers of a court when they are acting within the scope
of their office;
3. Public utilities operating under the regulations of the
utilities and transportation commission in construction,
maintenance, or development work incidental to their own
business;
4. Any construction, repair, or operation incidental to the
discovering or producing of petroleum or gas, or the
drilling, testing, abandoning, or other operation of any
petroleum or gas well or any surface or underground mine
or mineral deposit when performed by an owner or lessee;
5. The sale of any finished products, materials, or articles of
merchandise that are not fabricated into and do not become
a part of a structure under the common law of fixtures;
6. Any construction, alteration, improvement, or repair of
personal property performed by the registered or legal
owner, or by a mobile/manufactured home retail dealer or
manufacturer licensed under chapter 46.70 RCW who shall
warranty service and repairs under chapter 46.70 RCW;
7. Any construction, alteration, improvement, or repair
carried on within the limits and boundaries of any site or
reservation under the legal jurisdiction of the federal
government;
8. Any person who only furnished materials, supplies, or
equipment without fabricating them into, or consuming
them in the performance of, the work of the contractor;
9. Any work or operation on one undertaking or project by
one or more contracts, the aggregate contract price of
which for labor and materials and all other items is less
than five hundred dollars, such work or operations being
considered as of a casual, minor, or inconsequential nature.
The exemption prescribed in this subsection does not apply
in any instance wherein the work or construction is only a
part of a larger or major operation, whether undertaken by
the same or a different contractor, or in which a division of
the operation is made into contracts of amounts less than
five hundred dollars for the purpose of evasion of this
chapter or otherwise. The exemption prescribed in this
subsection does not apply to a person who advertises or
puts out any sign or card or other device which might
indicate to the public that he or she is a contractor, or that
he or she is qualified to engage in the business of
contractor;
10. Any construction or operation incidental to the
construction and repair of irrigation and drainage ditches
of regularly constituted irrigation districts or reclamation
districts; or to farming, dairying, agriculture, viticulture,
horticulture, or stock or poultry raising; or to clearing or
other work upon land in rural districts for fire prevention
purposes; except when any of the above work is performed
chapter do not apply to:
by a registered contractor;
11. An owner* who contracts for a project with a registered
contractor, except that this exemption shall not deprive the
owner of the protections of this chapter against registered
and unregistered contractors. The exemption prescribed in
this subsection does not apply to a person who performs
the activities of a contractor for the purpose of leasing or
selling improved property he or she has owned for less than
twelve months;
12.* Any person working on his or her own property,
whether occupied by him or her or not, and any person
working on his or her personal residence, whether owned
by him or her or not but this exemption shall not apply to
any person who performs the activities of a contractor on
his or her own property for the purpose of selling,
demolishing, or leasing the property;
13. An owner* who performs maintenance, repair, and
alteration work in or upon his or her own properties, or
who uses his or her own employees to do such work;
14. A licensed architect or civil or professional engineer
acting solely in his or her professional capacity, an
electrician certified under the laws of the state of
Washington, or a plumber certified under the laws of the
state of Washington or licensed by a political subdivision of
the state of Washington while operating within the
boundaries of such political subdivision. The exemption
provided in this subsection is applicable only when the
person certified is operating within the scope of his or her
certification;
15. Any person who engages in the activities herein
regulated as an employee of a registered contractor with
wages as his or her sole compensation or as an employee
with wages as his or her sole compensation;
16. Contractors on highway projects who have been
prequalified as required by RCW 47.28.070, with the
department of transportation to perform highway
construction, reconstruction, or maintenance work;
17. A mobile/manufactured home dealer or manufacturer
who subcontracts the installation, set-up, or repair work to
actively registered contractors. This exemption only applies
to the installation, set-up, or repair of the
mobile/manufactured homes that were manufactured or
sold by the mobile/manufactured home dealer or
manufacturer;
18. An entity who holds a valid electrical contractor's
license under chapter 19.28 RCW that employs a certified
journeyman electrician, a certified residential specialty
electrician, or an electrical trainee meeting the
requirements of chapter 19.28 RCW to perform plumbing
work that is incidentally, directly, and immediately
appropriate to the like -in-kind replacement of a household
appliance or other small household utilization equipment
that requires limited electric power and limited waste
and/or water connections. An electrical trainee must be
supervised by a certified electrician while performing
plumbing work.
* Per Washington State Department of Labor and Industries lessee has
been interpreted to be equivalent to owner for purposes of exemptions.
GENERAL NOTES
1) COMPLETE INSTALLATION OF THE MECHANICAL SYSTEM SHALL BE PER THE MOST CURRENT BUILDING, MECHANICAL,
ENERGY, PLUMBING, FIRE AND HEALTH CODES AND REGULATIONS AS ADOPTED BY THE LOCAL JURISDICTIONS.
2) ALL AIR-CONDITIONING UNITS WITHOUT INTERNAL TRAP SHALL HAVE A P -TRAP FOR THE CONDENSATE PAN WITH
PLUG TEES FOR CLEANING AND CONDENSATE PIPES SHALL BE DISCHARGED TO EXISTING CONDENSATE WASTE
PIPING. VERIFY SIZE AND LOCATION AT SITE.
3) MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE DIFFUSER LOCATIONS AND DUCT ROUTING CLEARANCES WITH THE
STRUCTURAL, REFLECTED CEILING AND LIGHTING PLANS.
4) ALL FIRE RATED STRUCTURE SHALL BE FIRE DAMPERED. VERIFY WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL AND INSTALL
PER THE LOCAL JURISDICTIONS.
5) ALL AIR DISTRIBUTION OUTLETS SHALL HAVE VOLUME CONTROL DEVICES.
6) ALL VOLUME DAMPERS IN NON -ACCESSIBLE CEILINGS SHALL HAVE A CONTROL ARM EXTENDED TO AN ACCESSIBLE
LOCATION ("YOUNG" REGULATIONS OR EQUAL). EXACT LOCATION OF CONTROL DEVICES VISIBLE IN FINISHED. SPACES
SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH THE ARCHITECT.
7) ALL 90 DEGREE TRUNK DUCT ELBOWS SHALL BE SMOOTH -ROUND OR SQUARE WITH TURNING VANES.
8) MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL LOCATE AND COORDINATE EXACT LOCATION OF PIPING AND DUCTWORK
AND PENETRATIONS WITH THE STRUCTURE.
9) MAXIMUM LENGTH OF FLEXIBLE DUCTS SHALL BE 6' OR AS SHOWN ON DRAWINGS.
10) ALL DUCTWORK, EQUIPMENT AND PIPING SHALL BE SEISMICALLY SUPPORTED PER SMACNA AND LOCAL
REGULATIONS.

AND TITLE, AND SHALL BE OF THE KIND AND QUALITY DESCRIBED HEREIN. IF IT APPEARS WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM
DATE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE THAT EQUIPMENT DOES NOT MEET THE WARRANTIES ABOVE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
IMMEDIATELY CORRECT ANY DEFECT AND SHALL RESTORE THE SYSTEM TO THE ORIGINAL SATISFACTORY CONDITIONS
AT HIS EXPENSE. THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER WRITTEN,

BASIC OWNERS' STANDARDS. MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR IS TO FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH THESE STANDARDS.
19) MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE SITE AND VERIFY THE ROUTING AND INSTALLATION FEASIBILITY OF ALL
EQUIPMENT, PIPING AND DUCTWORK PRIOR TO SUBMITTING HIS BID AND INCLUDE IN HIS BID ADDITIONAL PIPING,
DUCTWORK, FITTINGS, OFFSETS, ETC. WHICH MIGHT BE REQUIRED FOR A COMPLETE SYSTEM READY FOR OWNER'S
BENEFICIAL USE.
20) COORDINATE THE CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE WITH THE ARCHITECT AND PERFORM ALL REQUIRED WORK IN STRICT
ACCORDANCE WITH THE OWNER'S SCHEDULE.
21) MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PAY FOR AND OBTAIN ALL REQUIRED PERMITS AND CERTIFICATES
REQUIRED BY THE AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION.
22) ADJUST ALL EQUIPMENT AND PERFORM A COMPLETE AIR -BALANCING AND PUT ALL MECHANICAL SYSTEMS

Type I Hood Special Inspections
Type I hoods and ducts shall be inspected by
approved inspection agencies that satisfy the
requirements as to qualifications and reliability. Final
inspection reports from such approved agencies of the
Type I hood and duct shall be accepted by the code
official after the special inspections of hood and duct
have been completed.

2012 IMC 507.2.1.1 OPERATION.
Type I Hood systems shall be designed and
installed to automatically activate the exhaust fan
whenever cooking operations occur. The
activation of the exhaust fan shall occur through
an interlock with the cooking appliance, by means
of heat sensors or by means of other approved
methods.
508.1 MAKEUP AIR.
For mechanical makeup air systems, the exhaust
and makeup air systems shall be electrically
interlocked to insure that makeup air is provided
whenever the exhaust system is in operation.
Makeup air intake opening locations shall comply
with Section 401.4.

GREASE DUCT TEST (2015 IMC 506.3.2.5)
Prior to the use or concealment of any portion of a grease duct
system, a leakage test shall be performed. Ducts shall be
considered to be concealed where installed in shafts or covered by
coatings or wraps that prevent the ductwork from being visually
inspected on all sides. The permit holder shall be responsible to
provide the necessary equipment and perform the grease duct
leakage test. A light test shall be performed to determine that all
welded and brazed joints are liquid tight. A light test shall be
performed by passing a lamp having a power rating of not less than
100 watts through the entire section of ductwork to be tested. The
lamp shall be open so as to emit light equally in all directions
perpendicular to the duct walls. A test shall be performed for the
entire duct system, including the hood -to -duct connection. The
duct work shall be permitted to be tested in sections, provided that
every joint is tested. For listed factory -built grease ducts, this test
shall be limited to duct joints assembled in the field and shall
exclude factory welds.

ELECTRICAL PLANS SHALL BE FURNISHED AND INSTALLED UNDER THIS DIVISION OF THE SPECIFICATIONS.
THE WIRING INSTALLATION SHALL CONFORM TO ELECTRICAL DIVISION.
3.19 ALL WIRING CONNECTIONS TO CONTROLS ATTACHED TO DUCT WORK, OR MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE MADE
WITH FLEXIBLE CONNECTIONS TO PREVENT VIBRATION.
3.20 COORDINATE WITH THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR BEFORE ORDERING MOTORS AND/OR OTHER ELECTRICAL
EQUIPMENT TO ASSURE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT BEING OF PROPER ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS.
3.21 FURNISH PROPER NEMA TYPE ENCLOSURES FOR ALL STARTERS AND/OR CONTACTORS AS REQUIRED BY USAGE OR
CODE.
3.22 PROVIDE HEAVY DUTY SPEED SELECTOR SWITCHES, THERMAL MAGNETIC SWITCHES, START STOP PUSH BUTTON
STATIONS ETC. AS REQUIRED.
3.23 CUTTING AND PATCHING: CAREFULLY PERFORM ALL WORK WHERE CUTTING, CHANNELING, CHASING, OR
DRILLING OF FLOORS, WALLS, PARTITIONS, CEILINGS OR OTHER SURFACES IS NECESSARY FOR PROPER
INSTALLATION OR SUPPORT OF DUCTS, PIPING OR OTHER MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT.
3.24 ANY DAMAGE TO BUILDING, PIPING, EQUIPMENT, PLASTER, WOODWORK OR METAL WORK SHALL BE REPAIRED BY
SKILLED MECHANICS OF TRADES INVOLVED, AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER.
3.25 DO NOT CUT, CHANNEL, CHASE OR DRILL MASONRY OR TILE; OR CUT, DRILL OR WELD STRUCTURAL MEMBERS
OF THE BUILDING, ETC., WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING ARCHITECT'S PERMSSION, IF PERMISSION IS
GRANTED, PERFORM THIS WORK IN A MANNER APPROVED BY THE ARCHITECT.
3.26 CAULKING & WATERPROOFING: CAULK AROUND ALL PIPES, ETC. TO PREVENT AIR AND MOISTURE LEAKAGE
WITH COMPOUND APPROVED BY ARCHITECT/ENGINEER.
ADJUSTMENTS ARE MINOR AND DO NOT PRODUCE OBJECTIONABLE DRAFTS OR EXCESSIVE SOUND LEVELS.
3.53 CERTIFIED BALANCE REPORTS: THREE (3) COPIES OF THE AIR AND WATER BALANCE REPORT, CERTIFIED BY
THE BALANCING FIRM, SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER SEVEN (7) DAYS PRIOR TO FINAL
ACCEPTANCE OF THE PROJECT. THE REPORT SHALL INCLUDE ALL AIR AND WATER BALANCE DATE AND HEAT
TRANSFER EQUIPMENT TEST DATA LISTED BELOW, AND OTHER DATA AS REQUIRED BY THE "NATIONAL
STANDARD FOR FIELD MEASUREMENTS AND INSTRUMENTATION".
3.54 A.C. UNIT: CFM, STATIC PRESSURE, MOTOR HP, RPM, AND AMPS, PERCENT OF OUTSIDE AIR (OR CFM AS
APPLICABLE), FAN RPM, FAN BHP, INLET AND OUTLET DRY AND WET BULB TEMPERATURE, FAN DRIVE TYPE
AND SIZE, WATER FLOW -
3,55 INDIVIDUAL OUTLET AND INLET TEST RESULTS: OUTLET AND INLET IDENTIFICATION (LOCATION AND NUMBER
DESIGNATION).
3.56 FOLLOWING FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE SYSTEM BALANCE BY THE OWNER, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERMANENTLY
MARK THE SETTINGS OF ALL VALVES, SPLITTERS, DAMPERS, AND OTHER ADJUSTMENT DEVICES SO THAT
ADJUSTMENT CAN BE RESTORED IF DISTURBED AT ANY TIME. DEVICES SHALL NOT BE MARKED BEFORE FINAL
ACCEPTANCE.
3.57 NO STRUCTURAL MEMBERS SHALL BE CUT WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE ARCHITECT, AND ALL
SUCH CUTTING SHALL BE DONE IN A MANNER DIRECTED BY HIM.
3.58 PROVIDE WEATHER-PROOF FLASHING AT ALL DUCT, PIPE, ETC. MECHANICAL PENETRATIONS
THROUGH THE BUILDING WALLS AND ROOF. FLASHING SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED PER
SMACNA AND SHALL BE GUARANTEED WEATHER PROOF FOR THE DURATION OF THE GUARANTEE.
3.59 FIRE AND/OR SMOKE DAMPER
1. FURNISH AND INSTALL AT LOCATION SHOWN ON PLANS FIRE/SMOKE DAMPERS MEETING OR EXCEEDING THE
FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS: FRAME SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 16 GAUGE GALVANIZED STEEL FORMED INTO A
