the work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days from the last inspection.
PERMIT CONDITIONS:
1: ***MECHANICAL PERMIT CONDITIONS***
2: All mechanical work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the City of Tukwila
Permit Center (206/431-3670).
3: All permits, inspection record card and approved construction documents shall be kept at the site of work
and shall be open to inspection by the Building Inspector until final inspection approval is granted.
4: Manufacturers installation instructions shall be available on the job site at the time of inspection.
5: No changes shall be made to applicable plans and specifications unless prior approval is obtained from the
Tukwila Building Division.
8: Sprinkler coverage around unit heaters needs to comply with section 8.3.2.5 and figure 8.3.2.5 of NFPA 13
(2013 edition).
6: All new sprinkler systems and all modifications to existing sprinkler systems shall have fire department
review and approval of drawings prior to installation or modification. New sprinkler systems and all
modifications to sprinkler systems involving more than 50 heads shall have the written approval of Factory
Mutual or any fire protection engineer licensed by the State of Washington and approved by the Fire
Marshal prior to submittal to the Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau. No sprinkler work shall commence
without approved drawings. (City Ordinance No. 2436).
7: Contact The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau to witness all required inspections and tests. (City Ordinances
#2436 and #2437)
9: Any overlooked hazardous condition and/or violation of the adopted Fire or Building Codes does not imply
approval of such condition or violation.
