Engineers atIlk: Portland PROJECT Boeing Building 9-101 Secured Space LOCATION Seattle, Washington EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This project has been balanced per plans and specifications using the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) standards and procedures. Neudorfer Engineers performed the air balancing and water balancing on the following: (6) Existing Variable Air Volume Boxes, (1) new supply outlet off of an existing Variable Air Volume Box, and (1) New Fan Coil with a Chilled Water Coil. This fan has been checked for unit data, operating amperage, voltage, rotation, RPM, and operating static pressure. All outlets have been proportioned to ± 10% of design airflow unless otherwise noted. Existing Air Handler (AH2/J4A) • Existing Variable Air Volume Box (AH2/J4A VV2/J3A) This existing box serves existing supply diffusers, one of the supply diffusers was in the construction bubble for air balancing. Through the Siemens controls, the controller was commanded to full cooling mode. Design on the one supply grill is 240 CFM and actual is 265 CFM (110% of design total). This box was not calibrated and the other diffusers were not read not proportioned. After the one supply grills was set to the design flow, all overrides were released and the box was put back to normal operation. • New Fan Coil (FC -2J1) This new fan coil serves the server room in the secured space of the Boeing Bldg. 9-101. Design is 1,500 CFM and actual is 1,490 CFM (99% of design total). After the supply and return grills were proportioned, the chilled water data was obtained. Refer to the chilled water data sheets for further details. When all the data was documented, all overrides were released and the controller was put back to normal operation.
