bers of which-are marked with the Collective Mark of the AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF TIMBER
CONSTRUCTION (AITC) were manufactured in conformance with applicable provisions of U. S.
Commercial Standard, CS 253 -63, for Structural Glued Laminated Timber, and that such manufac-
ture has been at our plant in which plant has a quality
control system approved by the Inspection Bureau of the AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF TIMBER
CONSTRUCTION and inspected periodically by such Bureau. The undersigned manufacturer further
certifies that the work has been done in accordance with the applicable job specifications.

the AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF TIMBER CONSTRUCTION to use the AITC Collective Mark in
respect of products which comply with applicable provisions of said Standard, that the adequacy
of the quality control system in effect at said plant is periodically inspected and verified` by the
Inspection Bureau of the AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF TIMBER CONSTRUCTION, and that, in the
judgment of 'the undersigned, said company is capable of complying with applicable manufactur-
ing and testing provisions of said Standard in respect of products manufactured at said plant.
Conformance with the Standard in respect of any specific or particular product is the sole responsi-
bility of the manufacturer; AITC's guarantee hereunder being that the said company is qualified
