This sign permit application can be used to determine the total number of building mounted signs permitted for your business. The correct forrr.ula is written on page three, but when the math was executed the -500 was not included. Formula for sign area: (EBF — 500) X 0.04 + 25 = Maximum Allowed Sign Area 54' 4.5" X 26' (or 54.375 X 26) = EBF of 1413.75 sq. ft. 1413.75-500=913.75 913.75 * 0.04 = 36.55 36.55 + 25 = 61.55 Square Feet (Maximum Sign Area) This differs from the math presented on page 3, where you calculated the value to be 81.55 square feet, as whoever executed the calculation did not include the -500 component of the formula, as indicated on page 3 of the drawings. I need the correct calculations to be reflected in the drawings. Please let me know if you have any further questions! Do you have drawings with the corrected math? I don't need anything beyond this, and if the numbers are within the allowed sign area the permit should be able to be issued, although I cannot indicate issuance in the email, as I just review and approve the applications, the actual issuance is handled by another individual. Once all the documents are received, it normally takes a couple business days to complete the issuance, but it also depends on the workload of the administrative staff person.
