AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1198 TO ADD COUNCIL CONFIRMATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Ordinance No. 1198, Section 2 and Section 3, is hereby amended
to add council confirmation of the following positions:
I. Section 2. Office Created: (Planning Department).
The Planning Department is hereby created and shall be
under the supervision of the Planning Director who shall
report directly to the Mayor. The Director shall be ap-
pointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by a majority
of the members of the City Council. The Planning Department
shall be responsible for:
II. Section 3. Office Created: (Parks Recreation Department).
The Parks and Recreation Department is hereby created and
shall be under the supervision of the Parks and Recreation
Director who shall report directly to the Mayor. The Director
shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by
a majority of the members of the City Council. The Recreation
Department shall be responsible for:
