CD Ltd AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, CU 0 WASHINGTON ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITOR' CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF TUKWILA �cr�r�n (COP�IMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE BOYD U-i:`: ANNEXATION) AND CLASSIFYING AND ZONING. SAID PROPERTY$ WHEREAS, a petition to annex the real property hereinafter described is filed with the City Clerk of the City of Tukila, signed by owners of one hundred percent of the property according to the assessed valuation for the general taxation of property for which annexation is petitioned, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila has determined that the City will require the assumption of existing City indebtedness by the area to be annexed, and WHEREAS, the City Council fixed the date of July 7, 1980 as the date for public hearing thereon and caused due and Proper notice of said hearing to be posted and published as required by law, and WHEREAS, with respect to the State Environmental Policy Act of 1971, a formal declaration of environmental non- significance was entered in the Tukwila SEPA public information center on t h e 2 8 t h_ -a v f _Xa_r LgZD WHEREAS, review proceedings for said annexation are not required pursuant to RCW 35A.14.220. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington, do ordain as follows: Section 1. There has been filed with the City Council of the City of Tukwila a petition in writing signed by the owners of one hundred percent in value, according to the assessed HLEJ tar kecord at Request ©l Name— Addy=_ U valuation for general taxation of the property for which annexation was petitioned; that said petition was certified by the City Clerk; and that petitioners further understood the proposed zoning of said area, proposed for annexation N would be as shown on comprehensive plan of the City of Tukwila. O Section 2. July 7, 1980 was set as the date for public hearing on said petition; and due and proper notice of said hearing was posted and published as required by law. Section 3. The territory proposed by said petition could be annexed to the City of Tukwila is situated in the County of King, State of Washington, is contiguous, proximate and adjacent to the present corporate limits of said City and is more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated in full by this reference. Section 4. The territory set forth in this ordinance and for which the petition for annexation is filed should be and is hereby made a part of the City of Tukwila. Section 5. All the property within this territory annexed hereby shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as property within the City of Tukwila, including assessment of taxes and payment of any bonds issued or debts contracted prior to or existing at the date of annexation. Section 6. Said area hereby annexed shall be and hereby is classified and zoned as R- 1 -9.6, residential. Section 7. The area annexed hereby shall become a part of the City of Tukwila and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the 17TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1981 approved as to Form: 'City Attorney, Lawrence E.
