Chair Hougardy called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

A. Overview of Community Services & Safety Committee
Committee members and staff discussed the purpose of the Committee and its work.

B. 20214th Quarter Police Department Report
Chief Drever presented the report.
Items) for follow-up:
• Provide map of encampments
• Provide map of school zone cameras
• Consider additional evening patrols near Duwamish Hill Preserve and Codiga Park and
additional emphasis in the school zone when in-person learning returns.
• Provide data indicating how many calls/cases involve youth.

C. Interlocal Agreement: Fire Investigator Services
Staff briefed the Committee on the progress of an interlocal agreement with Puget Sound
Regional Fire Authority for fire investigation services.

Discussion only. Return to committee.
