ORDINANCE NO.� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
GRANTING MUNICIPAL APPROVAL TO THE MERGER OF
TELEPROMPTER CORPORATION AND A SUBSIDIARY OF
WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION AS REQUIRED
BY ORDINANCE #675.
WHEREAS, Northwest Cablevision, Inc. "Northwest Cablevision"),
a subsidiary of Teleprompter Corporation "Teleprompter is the cable
television franchisee in Tukwila, Washington, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance #675, Section 35, requires that prior approval
of the City Council shall be required when ownership or control is acquired
by another person or group of persons, and
WHEREAS, Westinghouse Electric Corporation "Westinghouse
purposes to acquire control of Northwest Cablevision through a merger
between Teleprompter and a subsidiary of Westinghouse as set forth in
a letter application dated January 22, 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The Tukwila City Council hereby grants its approval, as
requested, to permit Westinghouse to acquire control of
Northwest Cabl.evision through the merger of Teleprompter
and a subsidiary of Westinghouse, all as set forth in the
letter application, dated January 22, 1981.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
