The City of Tukwila has
begun the transition back to
in-person services again
TUKWILA CITY HALL RETURN TO IN-PERSON
Most City facilities, including City Hall, and the
permit center were closed to the public through
the month of February due to the ongoing spread
of the omicron variant of COVID-19. Beginning
March 1, 2022 we will revert to providing the
same level of in-person services as we did pre -
omicron variant. The following are the current
hours for City facilities starting March 1, 2022:
• City Hall - Mondays Et Wednesdays,
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Permit Center - Mondays Et
Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00
p.m.
• Human Services - Mondays Et
Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00
p.m.
• Tukwila Community Center -
Mondays through Thursdays 6:30
a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Fridays 6:30 a.m.
to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 7:30 a.m.
to 11:30 a.m.
• Municipal Court - Mondays &t
Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Police Department - 24 hours a day,
every day - use Justice Center south
entrance
All City services still remain accessible virtually
during normal business hours. You can also call
(206) 433-1800 to be directed to the correct
department via phone. As a reminder, the Police
Department and Municipal Court have moved
from the City Hall campus to the new Tukwila
Justice Center at 15005 Tukwila International
Boulevard.

Access to Broadband

The Affordable Connectivity Program is a Federal Communications
Commission program that helps connect families and households
struggling to afford internet service. This new benefit provides a discount
of up to $30 per month toward broadband service for eligible households
and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible
households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase
a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.
Eligible households can enroll through a participating broadband
provider or directly with the Universal Service Administrative Company
(USAC) using an online or mail in application.

Join us for the 2022 Residential Recycling
Collection Event on April 2, 2022
Join us for the 2022 Residential Recycling Collection Event at Foster High
School from 9 am to 3 pm on April 2, 2022. This event is for Tukwila
Residents only (please bring proof of residency).
To encourage the use of recycled plastic materials and more efficient use
of water, the City is also offering recycled plastic rain barrels for sale.
The barrels hold 55 gallons of water and will cost $35 each (Cash only).
Supply is limited.
