ORDINANCE NO. 234
AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING THE CONTINUATION OF 59th AVENUE SOUTH
THROUGH CERTAIN TRACTS OF LAND, IN THE T0WNN OF TUKWILA.
WHEREAS, on November 2, 1955, a petition was filed with the Town
Council of the Town of Tukwila for the abandonment of any future
continuation of 59th. Avenue South through Tracts 39 and 40, of
Brookvale Garden Tracts, and Tracts 6 and 7 Interurban Addition
to Seattle, in the Town of Tukwila, which tracts are the property
of South Central School District No. 406; and

WHEREAS, Hearing on said petition was held on March 5, 1956, and
no objection was made to the abandonment of the street described
above as requested in the petition above recited;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TUKWILA T0VN COUNCIL:
That 59th. Avenue South will not be continued through Tracts 39
and 40, Brookvale Garden Tracts and 6 and 7, Interurban Addition
to Seattle, in the Town of Tukwila, so long as said tracts shall
be used as a School site by South Central School District No.406.
PASSED the Town Council and approved by the Mayor this 2nd day
of April 1956.
