Dan Balmelli of Barghausen Consulting Engineers, Inc. has filed applications for
development of a new 4- story, 139 room extended stay hotel on a 2.47 acre site along with
associated clearing and grading, paved parking, landscaping, and site design. The project is
located at 300 Upland Drive between Upland Drive and Minkler Boulevard. The site is
currently a vacant lot.
Permits applied for include: L12 -004, Public Hearing Design Review and E12 -002, SEPA
Environmental Review.
Other known required permits include: Building Permit; Sign Permit; Union Pacific Rail
Road permit to work within 25' of track.

The project files are available at the City of Tukwila. To view the files, you may request
them at the counter at the Department of Community Development (DCD), located at 6300
Southcenter Boulevard #100.

You are invited to comment on the project at a public hearing before the Board of
Architectural Review, scheduled for 6:30 pm, April 26, 2012 at the Tukwila City Council
