What is the Fire Advisory Task Force? The Task Force will advise the City Council and the public on financial recommendations and fire operations in pursuit of a sustainable financial model that has the community's support. The Task Force will include firefighters, City staff, elected officials, residents, and business representatives to ensure a broad range of expertise is included. Vacant Positions The City of Tukwila is seeking residents and members of the business community to serve on the Task Force. Anyone with an interest in fire service is encouraged to apply. 0 Members will be expected to reliably attend weekly meetings which may be adjusted based on the flow of information to be discussed. Next Steps If you are interested in applying please fill out the application for appointment and return to the City by 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021. Completed applications can be emailed to BoardsComms@TukwilaWA.gov or mailed to Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila, WA 98188. While we are together, let's reimagine Hazelnut Park. Fire station 52 will be open and city staff will be available to answer questions about the building and future of the property. Give your input about what you would like to see and experience at the park. Masks are optional for those that are fully vaccinated. all others are requested to wear a mask FREE Music, Food, & Fun! The City of Tukwila has begun the transition back to in-person services TUKWILA CITY HALL RETURN TO IN-PERSON The City is transitioning back to in-person services at City facilities; all City services remain accessible virtually during normal business hours. As a reminder, the Police Department and Municipal Court have moved from the City Hall campus to the new Tukwila Justice Center at 15005 Tukwila International Boulevard. The following are the current hours for City facilities, which will continue to expand over the coming weeks: • City Hall - Mondays Et Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. • Permit Center - Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. • Human Services - Tuesdays Et Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. • Tukwila Community Center - Mondays through Thursdays 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Fridays 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. • Municipal Court - Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. • Police Department - 24 hours a day, every day - use Justice Center south entrance City of Tukwila 1 6200 Southcenter Blvd, Tukwila WA 98188 1 206 433-1800
