NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to RCW 35A.33.120, transfers within the basic
objects of the separate funds of the annual budget shall be by formal motion
of the City Council. Request for transfers shall be made in writing to the
Mayor by the department head seeking the transfer. If the Mayor approves, he
shall present the request to the City Council for action.
Section 2. No salary shall be increased above the amount provided
therefore in the annual budget and specified in the adopted salary plan of
the City
Section 3. When provided for in the annual budget, the Mayor is
authorized to call for bids on public works projects or procure goods or
professional services when the project or procurement does not exceed $25,000.
Section 4. Any unbudgeted capital equipment or fixed asset item, including
components or series of items, in excess of $1,000 in cost shall be approved by
the City Council prior to purchase and, if necessary, shall include a recommen-
dation, if approved by the Mayor, for budget transfer.

UNBUDGETED FIXED ASSET ITEMS.
