Chair Quinn called the meeting to order.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Grant Application: South 144th Street Bridge Sidewalks Project
Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the Puget Sound Regional Council's Surface
Transportation Program for $475,750 in funding for the South 144th Street Bridge Sidewalks
Project.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval.
B. Public Works Shops Phase 2 Introduction
Staff briefed the Committee on a potential funding plan and next steps for Phase 2 of the
Public Works Shops, which would develop the eastern parcel where the UPS site currently
resides.
Item(s) for Follow-up:
• Provide Councilmembers Abdi and Sharp with hard copies of pages 14-16 from the
10/28/19 COW presentation on the Consolidated Facility Study

C. Minimum Wage Initiative
Staff provided an overview of a current initiative effort related to the minimum wage in
Tukwila.
Item(s) for Follow-up:
• Provide City Attorney input
• Provide information about Seattle and SeaTac's enforcement processes
• Determine if the City Council can amend the initiative language prior to putting it on the
ballot.
