• Approval of minutes: Minutes from May meeting were not approved due to lack of quorum at start of and most of
the meeting proceedings.
• Chief Update:
o Staffing:
✓ 61 of 77 available.
✓ Difficult to get new officers.
✓ There is an "open" Commander position.
o Legislative reform is ongoing.
o Probable cause needed to pursue, and also to detain (?)
o Tear gas use requires Mayor's OK
• Good Of The Order:
o Next meeting will likely be in-person at the EOC conference room (Justice Center)
o No changes to traffic stop policies & procedures due to "reforms"
o Community engagement; Teams of Tukwila (Foster H.S. students) -meetings occurring.
