Kolby Clark, a 17 year -old male residing at the above residence, was arrested on the
evening of March 17 for the murder of 17 year -old Jasmyn Tully, a SeaTac resident and
acquaintance of Clark's. Clark has been held at the King County Youth Services jail
since that time and has been formally charged with Murder in the Second Degree with a
Deadly Weapon. Clark was the last person seen with Miss Tully, and he confessed to
Tukwila detectives that he was the person responsible for Miss Tully's death; he is
believed to be the only person involved in this incident. Clark told detectives that he
attacked Miss Tully, and during the attack pulled a pocket knife and stabbed her one
time in the neck; Miss Tully died from that wound. There was no apparent motive for the
crime. Immediately following the attack, Clark fled the apartment on foot and, prior to
being contacted by Tukwila Police officers, cut his own wrist with the same knife and
discarded it. Following his confession, Clark led detectives to the area where he
discarded the knife; it was found and booked into evidence. Tukwila detectives have no
reason to believe that the drug `spice' played any role in this case.
