Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:33pm

3.Public Comment There were no public comments.
4.Unfinished Business
a.Open seats status update Board members discussed ideas for recruiting new
members.
b.Little Libraries update John Dunn provided pictures of the newly installed Libraries.
Board discussed registering with the Little Libraries website. Staff will order 2 new Little
Libraries to be installed at more locations. Staff will also order plaques to install that
state the libraries are provided by the Tukwila Library Advisory Board.
c.2022 Budget- no update will discuss again at July 5, 2022 meeting.
5.New Business
a.Summer See You in The Park schedule John Dunn provided dates and locations of
summer events. Board members discussed tabling and items to give away. King County
Library staff will help provide items. Parks & Recreation staff will provide further details
on the events as they become available.
6.Reports
a.KCLS: Angelina Benedetti provided an update on programming and facility updates.
Board members asked clarifying questions.
b.City of Tukwila: John Dunn provided an update on the city budget process, Parks &
Recreation summer programming. Board members asked follow up questions.
