SPECIAL MEETING This meeting was conducted both on-site at Tukwila City Hall and virtually via Microsoft Teams. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Ekberg called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at 8:16 p.m. directly following the Committee of the Whole meeting. ROLL CALL Andy Youn, Deputy City Clerk, called the roll of the Council. Present at the meeting were Councilmembers De'Sean Quinn (on-site), Kate Kruller (remote), Thomas McLeod (on-site), Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson (on-site), Tosh Sharp (on-site). MOVED BY KRULLER, SECONDED BY MCLEOD TO EXCUSE COUNCILMEMBERS HOUGARDY AND ABDI FROM THE MEETING. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. CONSENT AGENDA a. Award a bid and authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Titan Earthwork, LLC, for the 2022 Annual Small Drainage Program, in the amount of $547,980.00 (plus contingency). [Reviewed and forwarded to Consent by the Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee on 6/6/22.] b. Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to contract #22-012 with KPG Psomas, Inc., for construction management services for the 2022 Small Drainage Program, in the amount of $99,872.00. [Reviewed and forwarded to Consent by the Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee on 6/6/22.] c. Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 2 to contract #21-187 with KPG Psomas, Inc., for construction management services, design services, and construction support for the 2022 Overlay and Repair Program, in the amount of $265,988.00. [Reviewed and forwarded to Consent by the Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee on 6/6/22.] d. Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Otak, Inc., for engineering and design services for the Gilliam Creek Fish Barrier Removal and Habitat Enhancement project, in the amount of $330,622.00. [Reviewed and forwarded to Consent by the Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee on 6/6/22.] e. Approve an application for lodging tax funds from the City of Tukwila for Paint the Boulevard in the amount of $6,000.00, and for the Seattle Sports Commission Sponsorship in the amount of $10,000.00.
