Chair Kruller called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Capital Projects Phases & Process
Staff presented an overview of process and phasing of capital projects.
Item(s) for follow-up:
• Return with report on implementation of Resolution 1814, Apprenticeship Utilization
for Public Works Projects.
• Return with information on local hire policy and practice.
• Consider linking to Council meeting records from capital project pages as well as
adding total project budget amounts.

B. Project Completion: Boeing Access Road Bridge over Airport Way Seismic Retrofit
Staff is seeking Council approval of project completion and release of retainage in the
amount of $1,468,314.87 for the Boeing Access Road over Airport Way Bridge Seismic Retrofit
Project.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval. Forward to August 1, 2022 Regular Consent Agenda.
C. Grant Application: Citywide Water Meter Digitization Project
Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the WaterSMART Water & Energy Efficiency
grant program for $2.5 million to upgrade the City to an advanced metering infrastructure
water system.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval.
