City Council Planning & Community Development Committee

Guest: Kelly Rider, King County Department of Community & Human Services
Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
BUSINESS AGENDA
A. King County Health through Housing Program Update
King County staff provided an update on the Health through Housing program, which
repurposes hotel properties into supportive housing, and is seeking Council direction on
participation. Councilmembers discussed the importance and timing of community outreach
and asked several clarifying questions.

Provide the following additional information:
• Reserve requirements
• Site characteristics identified by participating cities
• List of service providers already selected

Forward to July 25, 2022 Committee of the Whole.
