SECOND QUARTER CRIME STATISTICS
While calls for service in the second quarter
are within range, case reports were high in
April and May with June within range. Online
reports continue to drive much of this
increase. Thefts from vehicle account for
about half of all online reports.
Commercial burglary, auto theft, and theft
from vehicle are all on pace for record high
yearly totals. Auto thefts have already
outpaced nine of the last 14 year-end totals.
Juveniles were listed as suspects in 26 cases
in the second quarter.
