RIVER PROTECTION EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, made this day of Q�

1976, between CITY OF TUKWILA, a municipal corporation, herein

CD after referred to Grantor, and KING COUNTY, a legal subdivision
0N of the State of Washington, hereinafter referred to as Grantee;

W I T N E S S E T H
Grantor, in consideration of the mutual benefits of
the parties hereto, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
and the benefis which will accrue to the land of Grantor by the
exercise of the rights herein granted, do hereby remise, release
and forever grant unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns,
an easement and right -of -way for the purposes hereinafter
stated along the left bank of the Green River within a strip
of land thirty (30) feet in width that is more -fully described
as follows:
Beginning South 00 °14'00" East 970 feet and South
89 0 47'00" East 110.3 feet from corner common to
Sections 23, 24, 25 and 26; Thence South 69 0 23'00"
East 302.06 feet; Thence South 48 0 00 1 00" East 82
feet; Thence North 75 0 13'00" East 160 feet more or
less to Green (White) River; thence Northwesterly
along said river to point South 89 1 47'00" East
from beginning; Thence to beginning. All in
Sections 25, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M.,
in the County of King and State of Washington.
Said easement and right -of -way are for the following
purposes: The right to enter uopn the above described land to
construct, reconstruct, maintain and repair a bank protection
and /or other flood control works, including all appurtenances
thereto, provided that Grantee shall not damage or destroy any
existing trees or substantial vegetation on the subject ease-
ment and right -of -way and shall replace any such flora damaged
by Grantee, or its agents, without cost to Grantor.
The consideration,above mentioned, is accepted as
full compensation to the exercise of the rights above granted.
To have and to to hold, all and singular, the said

On this day, appeared before me EDGAR D. BAUCH and
MAXINE ANDERSON, to me known to be the mayor and city clerk, pro
tem, of the CITY OF TUKWILA, a municipal corporation, the corpor-
ation described in and that executed the foregoing River Protection
Easement, and acknowledged the said instrument to be the free and
voluntary act and deed of the CITY OF TUKWILA, for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned, and on oath stated that they are
authorized to execute the said instrument and that the seal affixed
is the official seal of the said CITY OF TUKWILA.
