Chair Kruller called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Grant Application: Transportation Element of the Comprehensive Plan
Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the Safe Streets & Roads for All program for
$240,000 for the Transportation Element.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval.
B. Grant Application: S. 152"d Street Safe Routes to School Project
Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the Transportation Improvement Board
Urban Arterial Program for $4 million for the S. 152nd Street Safe Routes to School Project.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval.
C. Grant Application: 42"d Avenue S Raised Crosswalk Project
Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the Transportation Improvement Board
Active Transportation Program for $175,000 for the 42nd Avenue South Raised Crosswalk
project.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval.
Miscellaneous
1. Chair Kruller asked Committee members for availability to convene a special meeting. The
Committee agreed on August 29 as the date.
2. Staff and Committee members discussed next steps on the Public Works Shops Phase 2
project.
The meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
