ORDINANCE NO. 228
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1955 FOR THE PAYMENT OF
THE CURRENT MUNICIPAL EXPENSES AND THE REDEMPTION OF DEBT.
WHEREAS, THE Town Council of the Town of Tukwila, King County, Wash-
ington, at a regular meeting thereof, held the fourth day of October,
1954, made the following estimate of the expenditures and receipts from
all sources other than taxation upon the real and personal property of
the said Town of Tukwila, for the ensuing year of 1955.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TUKWILA
Section 1. That for the purpose of raising funds with which to
pay the expenditures as above enumerated, together
with Redemption of Debt for the Town of Tukwila for the en-
suing year of 1955 there shall be certified to the County Assessor
of King County, Washington, the sum of FOUR THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED
y S EVENTY -FOUR DOLLARS ($4574.00) as the amount to be raised by Gen-
oral Taxation upon the real and personal property embraced within
the corporate limits of the Town of Tukwila, as shown by the assess-
ment rolls of King County for the year 1954.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its publication.
PASSED the Town Council and signed by me in authentication of its
passage this 4th day of October 1954

I, RALPH S. STACY, Assessor of King County,
Washington, do hereby certify that the assessed valuation
of all the property situate within the boundary of the
TOWN OF TUKWILA, as equalized and fixed by the County
and State Boards of Equalization, for the year 1954,
is $304,986.
