Chair Hougardy called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Basketball Equity Action Team
Staff updated the Committee on plans for a Basketball Festival at the Tukwila Community
Center on September 17th
Committee Recommendation:
Discussion only.
B. Interlocal Agreement: Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force
Staff is seeking Council approval to amend the Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force Interlocal
Agreement to allow the Executive Board to add or subtract participants and to change the
timeframe to be exclusive of the two-year grant cycle.
Committee Recommendation:
Unanimous approval. Forward to September 12, 2022 Committee of the Whole.
11. MISCELLANEOUS
Emergency Management Assistant
Staff reported that one Commissioned Officer FTE position will be converted to fill the need of
the emergency manager assistant.

Discussion only.
