SPECIAL MEETING
This meeting was conducted both on-site at Tukwila City Hall and virtually via Microsoft Teams.

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ekberg (on-site) called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at 9:34 p.m.
directly following the Committee of the Whole meeting.
ROLL CALL
Felipe Ayala, Administrative Support Coordinator, called the roll of the Council. Present at the meeting
were Councilmembers Kathy Hougardy (on-site), De'Sean Quinn (on-site), Kate Kruller (on-site), Thomas
McLeod (on-site), Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson (on-site), Mohamed Abdi (on-site), Tosh Sharp (on-site).

CONSENT AGENDA
a. Approval of Minutes: 8/15/22 (Regular Mtg.); 8/22/22 (Special Mtg.)
b. Approval of Vouchers: #00401309 — 00401434 in the amount of $2,445,080.97.
c. Authorize the Mayor to sign an amended and restated Interlocal Agreement for the creation and
maintenance of the Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force.

d. Authorize the Mayor to sign a lease agreement with Electronic Business Machines for copiers and
printers over a three-year period in the amount of $107,047.08.

e. Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order No. 17 to contract #21-046 with Lincoln Construction, Inc.,
to complete roof improvements and exterior envelope work for the Public Works Fleet & Facilities
Building Improvement Project in the amount of $1,667,894.00.

f. Authorize the Mayor to sign an Interagency Agreement with the Washington State Department of
Ecology to accept the Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance (LSWFA) grant, in the amount of
$40,618.67 ($30,464.00 coming to the City).

Award a bid and authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with ICON Materials for the Tukwila Parkway
Emergency Repair Project in the amount of $495,595.00 (to include contingency).

MOVED BY HOUGARDY, SECONDED BY MCLEOD TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS
SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
