Roll Call: a. Board Members: Steve Miller, Cynthia Chesak, Verna Seal, Gerie Ventura, Marie Parrish Teams: Scott Kruize b. Staff: KCLS Staff: Angelina Benedetti (Via Teams), City of Tukwila Staff: John Dunn 2. Approval of Agenda and Minutes — a. Cynthia Chesak motioned to approve the agenda. Marie Parrish second the motion, all were in favor. b. Steve Miller motioned to accept the minutes from June 7, 2022. Marie Parrish second the motion, all were in favor. 3. Public Comment—There were no public comments. 4. Unfinished Business a. Open seats status update —1 application was submitted and in the process of approval. b. Little Libraries update —The board discussed a potential Hazelnut article once the final 2 libraries are installed in late summer. c. 2022 Budget- Board added ordering a plaque for weight room magazine rack 5. New Business a. 2023-24 Biennial Budget for City of Tukwila —Tony Cullerton, Deputy Finance Director gave an overview of the budget process and presented a new budget tool for the public to use. board members asked clarifying questions b. See You in the Park — Staff shared dates again and Board members discussed tabling at the events. 6. Reports a. KCLS: Angelina Benedetti provided an update on programming and facility updates. Board members asked clarifying questions. b. City of Tukwila: John Dunn provided an update on the Parks & Recreation summer programming. Board members asked follow up questions. 7.
