AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RELATING
TO ANIMAL CONTROL AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 979.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:
Article II, Section 1. (2) and (3) are amended to read:
Article II Licensing. Section 1. Dog and Cat Licenses Required.
(2) Fees.
Dog and cat licenses shall be issued upon application and payment
of a fee which has been set by the King County Council.
(3) Penalty.
A late penalty shall be charged in accordance with regulations
set by the King County Council.
Section 2:
Article III is amended to add Section 14 as follows:
Section 14. Renewal of Agreement.
The Mayor is authorized to execute Interlocal Services
Agreements with King County for Animal Control until
termination of services is determined advisable.
